Hometown: Miamisburg OH

For 18 years I called Miamisburg home. Now that I live in Tennessee, we make trips back several times a year to visit family and my hometown. Ohio will always have such a special place in my heart. On our most recent trip, my family drove around town looking at our old houses and places that will forever have a spot in our hearts. Our first stop we make when we get to Ohio is usually Skyline. When we start seeing these, we know we are close to home.

The next day, one stop we wanted to make was at Harmon Field. For years I was an athletic trainer for the football team. We got out and were able to literally take a walk down memory lane.

As lunchtime approached, I realized a lot of the stops we make back home are for food. And this next one, is probably our favorite. The Hamburger Wagon. It is a literal wagon, parked downtown that serves burgers. But make no mistake, these burgers are perfect just the way they are (no ketchup needed).

Of course, the food isn't our ONLY reason for heading back home. We love the chance to catch up with family and hang out with cousins!

Our final stop before heading back down to the Smoky Mountains was...

We had such a wonderful time with family and food and we're already planning our trip back. But it's good to be back in the beautiful Smoky Mountains!
